    Degree Types

    Undergraduate students at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), depending on their programmes, have the option to complete all four stages of their studies at XJTLU in Suzhou (4+0), or alternatively, to study the first two stages at XJTLU and then transfer to the University of Liverpool (UoL) in the UK to complete the remaining two stages (2+2).

    For specific undergraduate programmes at XJTLU Entrepreneur College, students have the choice to either complete their entire four-stage education at XJTLU (4+0), or opt for a 2+1+1 arrangement where stage 1 and 2 are completed at XJTLU, followed by one year at the UoL for Stage 3, and returning to XJTLU to complete Stage 4.

    Normally, upon successfully completing undergraduate studies, students are awarded two degrees: the degree of the UoL and the Chinese degree of XJTLU, for programmes in which XJTLU has been granted degree-awarding authority.
