    Accreditations

    Since our establishment in 2004, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) has gained multiple professional accreditations for its schools, departments and programmes from some of the world’s foremost authoritative professional bodies.

    XJTLU’s International Business School Suzhou (IBSS) became the youngest business school in the world to become accredited by AACSB International (AACSB) in 2016.? The business school made history once again as the youngest school to gain double-accredited status in 2018 with EQUIS (EFMD Quality Improvement System) accreditation. The final jewel in IBSS’s “Triple Crown” was achieved in 2020 with AMBA (Association of MBAs) accreditation, with IBSS the 102nd school to enter this exclusive group of top business schools. Only 1% of business schools in the world hold the Triple Crown accreditation. In addition to becoming the youngest Triple Crown school globally in 2020, IBSS was BGA (Business Graduates Association) accredited and BSIS (Business School Impact System) labelled. AACSB accreditation was renewed in 2021.

    XJTLU is the first university on the Chinese mainland to have BEng and MDes Industrial Design programmes accredited by the Chartered Society of Designers (CSD), is the first university in China to gain unconditional Part 1 and Part 2 accreditation from the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) for our undergraduate?and?postgraduate?architecture degrees respectively, and has the first and only English Language Centre on the Chinese mainland with accreditations both by BALEAP (British Association of Lecturers in English for Academic Purposes) and the Chartered Institute of Linguistics (CIOL).
