Suzhou¡¯s second computer-based IELTS test centre opens at XJTLU

Xi¡¯an Jiaotong-Liverpool University recently became a testing centre for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). IELTS is the standard worldwide English language proficiency test for higher education.

The centre is Suzhou¡¯s second IELTS test centre, and the first exams took place on 22 January 2022.

The XJTLU IELTS test centre can provide two computer-based test services: IELTS and IELTS for United Kingdom Visas and Immigration (UKVI). There will be at least six test sessions per week, and 130 computer-based tests are planned for the first half of 2022 alone.

The examination environment and equipment maintain the high standards of computer-delivered IELTS test centres. The establishment of the new centre at XJTLU will enable candidates from both XJTLU and the local area to fulfil the requirements for IELTS registration conveniently.
