Dr. Shu Zhanyong is currently the Vice President of Analytical Science of Abogen Biosciences Inc., he is mainly responsible for the analytical development and quality control of mRNA vaccine and drug product pipelines. Before joining Abogen Biosciences, Dr. Shu served as the executive director of analytical development at CMAB and WuXi Biologics, Suzhou. Before returning to China in 2020, Dr. Shu was engaged in the research and development in the field of Biochemistry and biopharmaceuticals at the University of California, Irvine, and more biopharmaceutical companies. Dr. Shu worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Penn state University and Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Dr. Shu holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
